Our bespoke modular floor is a great addition to either the Hypedome S or Hypedome M, not only providing a solid base but also sealing off the bottom of the dome and improving its thermal performance.

And it’s beautiful too, thanks to the hexagonal panel design that corresponds with the dome’s look.

All materials used to manufacture our Insulated Modular Base are fully recyclable, in addition to our up-cycling programme.

The base is installed inside the Hypedome and the dome stands directly on the ground surface, not on top of the floor

Installation

Hypebase can be easily retrofitted into the existing dome
Assembly takes about 2 hours to complete for two people
Required tools: screwdriver
Please note that your Hypedome needs to be properly anchored to the ground before assembling the Insulated Modular Base
Your ground may need levelling before base assembly. Levelling instructions are included in the Assembly Manual

Compatibility

Hype Base is currently available for the Hypedome S, Hypedome M, Hypedome L and is not compatible with the Hypodome Mini.
It can be used with all types of Hypedome S, M and L: Clear, Grey, Mirror & Opal

Possible positions

Insulated Modular Base can be installed only in one position inside the dome.
Please note that the floor goes into the dome and Hypedome does not stand on top of it. With a base in place, the headroom space is reduced by about 50 mm (2 in).
Hypedome Base is not intended to be used as an alternative to anchoring. Your Hypedome needs to be anchored to the ground before base installation.

Warranty & Maintenance

Base comes with 2 years warranty against manufacturing defects
There’s no maintenance required, other than occasional cleaning of the top surface

Base is delivered to your doorstep on a standard-size wooden palette

The base is sturdy while the hexagonal design and anti-slippery surface are a nice touch. It's been a practical addition to my home gym.

The hexagonal pattern looks so good that it would be a shame to cover it with a carpet. It feels solid and really blocks any moisture getting inside. We were lucky that our pavement is flat so we had no difficulties with the assembly. If yours is uneven then you should certainly take care of that first.

We did find the floor difficult particularly on concrete.
We found the best solution was to lay the floor without the circles and triangles then put each bolt in.
In that way you knew the floor would fit.

We spoke with Hypedome and they already made amendments to the manual. Can't fault the quality of the product. It's solid.
