Seals of the bottom of the dome from the elements. It’s recommended when setting up a Hypedome on the existing decking or other hard surfaces. Works best when paired with one our Floor Covers: Carpet or Coconut Coir Matting.

Possible positions

Soft Floor can be installed only in one position inside the dome
Please note that the membrane goes into the dome and Hypedome does not stand on top of it
Soft Floor is not intended to be used as an alternative to anchoring. Your Hypedome needs to be anchored to the ground before base installation

Warranty & Maintenance

Hype Base comes with 2 years warranty against manufacturing defects
There’s no maintenance required, other than occasional cleaning of the top surface. Hand wash possible.

I recently purchased the Soft Floor for my Hypedome and it's been a notable improvement. It's especially useful as it seals the bottom of the dome, providing a barrier against humidity, dirt, and some unwelcome critters like bugs

Practical addition to the hypedome. As you can see we have built ours on grass and adding the soft floor significantly decreased fogging up. It still happens in early mornings, but it quickly evaporates.

Cordura canvas works great even on snow. Obviously it won't do miracles in terms of thermal insulation, but effectively blocks moisture and it's easy to clean.

We've built our camping dome in the middle of the forest and getting the soft floor to provide an extra layer of insulation from draft, cold and bugs. It was definitely a good idea. If you're still on the fence whether you should get it or not. . do it! It isn't that expensive and totally worth it.
