Multi-Dome Setups: Hotel-Level Comfort in Remote Locations

By Sarah Gill inGlamping Pod, Product Tips

Some places just make people stop and breathe. A clearing at the edge of a forest. A rocky hillside overlooking the sea. A meadow hours from the nearest city. These are the spots guests remember – but they’re not easy to build for.

Guests come for the nature. But they stay for the comfort.

Multi-room lodging

And for many of our customers – glamping hosts and retreat owners – one dome was just the beginning. Families were looking for separate, yet connected spaces. Couples on longer stays wanted a private bathroom. Groups were asking for shared lounges, quiet zones, and a better flow between them.

So, we designed a way to make it happen.

Introducing the Link Tunnel: A Simple Way to Connect Hypedomes

The Link Tunnel is a new structural element that lets you connect two or more Hypedomes into a single, fluid layout.

It’s weatherproof, fully integrated with our dome designs, and compatible across dome sizes – S to M, M to L, even S to L. You can now combine a bedroom dome with a private bathroom dome. Or link multiple sleeping pods to a central lounge. Or create a two-room setup that’s perfect for families with kids.

No heavy construction. No foundations. Just a clean, modular connection that opens up a new level of flexibility for multi-dome glamping – in places where traditional builds would be complicated, costly, or simply not allowed.

Multi-Dome Setups: Designed for High-End Outdoor Stays

This isn’t about adding more square meters.

With connected domes, you’re no longer limited to one open-plan space.

You can start thinking in terms of separate rooms – just like in a small apartment: a dome for sleeping, one for bathing, and maybe another for gathering or relaxing.

The layout becomes intuitive. Each zone has a purpose. And the whole setup works as a single, connected unit – even if it’s placed hours away from the nearest paved road.

Imagine your guests waking up in a curved-glass bedroom pod, stepping through a short tunnel into a heated bathroom, then joining friends in a shared dome for coffee – with forest, desert, or ocean all around them.

It’s apartment-level comfort, delivered in places that normally don’t allow for it.

Multi-Dome Outdoor Apartments that Fit Your Vision

When you’re designing for multi-dome glamping, the final layout depends on who’s staying, for how long, and what kind of experience you offer.

Below are four configuration ideas based on common guest scenarios – each one adaptable to your site and your setup.

Hotel-Level Suite

An ideal layout for couples or solo guests expecting more privacy and comfort. A larger Hypedome for sleeping, connected to a smaller dome with a dedicated bathroom. Works well in premium zones of your site, or as a standalone offering for longer stays.

Family-Friendly Setup

Designed with families in mind – separate sleeping domes for parents and kids, joined by a tunnel. Everyone gets their own space, but remains connected. Simple, intuitive, and easy to scale with additional domes.

Family En-Suite

A practical layout that combines two sleeping domes with a private bathroom – connected in a way that keeps the setup compact but still gives everyone enough personal space. Ideal for families or small groups who value comfort and convenience without giving up connection.

Larger Multi-Dome Units

Add a central dome to serve as a lounge, dining room or a shared meditation space. It brings structure and flow to group stays – ideal for retreats, friend getaways, or longer bookings that require more than just a place to sleep.

The Smart Way to Scale Without Building

Traditionally, offering more space meant more infrastructure: plumbing extensions, permits, construction teams. With the Link Tunnel, you can expand your accommodation offering without any of that.

You start with one dome. Add a second. Connect them. Done.

Hypedome multi-dome setups work like building blocks, letting you grow or change your layout as your business evolves. And because it’s all modular, it can be relocated, repurposed, or upgraded as needed.

That’s the core idea behind multi-dome glamping: high-quality, low-footprint setups that are guest-friendly and future-proof.

The Next Step for Outdoor Hospitality

Connected domes are now available. Whether you want to extend your season, raise your nightly rate, or offer something guests haven’t seen before, the tools are here.

The comfort of a boutique apartment.
The surroundings of the wild.
No compromises.
