Get to Know Your Dome Door Options
Picture yourself using your wind-resistant dome, whether it’s for business or personal use, and you’ll soon imagine how you want to enter and exit. Now you can choose from three entrance options, to tailor any setting to your needs.
What Does the Port Door Offer?
The Hypedome Port Door is the epitome of dome-based elegance. This lockable polycarbonate door keeps any valuables right where they need to be while ensuring easy and swift access to the dome. It also gives you an extra space ‘outside’ the Hypedome, making it very useful for the purpose of dining, glamping, and more.

Port Door in Dining Domes
The use of a standard Roll Door for dining pod purposes can pose challenges, particularly during colder months when the dome stays closed while being used. This presents difficulties for waiters taking orders, bringing food and taking out the dishes. Port Door helps streamline this process.Â
The porch is the perfect place to stand as they cater to every whim and request, all while your guests enjoy the full range of space of the dome. And because the entrance is wide and welcoming (83 cm/32.7 in), they’ll be able to deliver the main courses without a hint of stress.
Port Door is equipped with a doorknob and functions like a regular hinged door, making it much easier to use (compared to Roll Door). This also means that each time it’s utilized the dome stays open for a significantly shorter time, so it positively affects the internal temperature.
Port Door in Glamping Domes
The Port Door is a perfect upgrade for glamping domes, offering the ability to securely close the dome from the inside or outside, using a unique key. Compared to membrane doors, the Port Door provides a higher level of safety, being more resistant to breakage.Â
What’s more, its oriel creates additional space, allowing your glamping guests to comfortably get ready before stepping outside the dome. They can also take a good look at what’s just outside the dome, as well as on both sides from the entrance, without even opening the dome. But our favourite part is that it lets the additional light in through the door’s clear roof. This feature adds a touch of brightness and creates a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the overall glamping experience for your guests.
And here’s something interesting for all of you picturing a new-look glamping site. The Port Door allows you to create custom structures by joining two same-sized domes together with ease. It’s the multi-room apartment that makes any site stand out.

Port Door in Garden Domes
A lockable polycarbonate Port Door is a great choice for those who wish to keep their valuable items secure within the garden pod. By using the included key, you can easily lock the door, providing peace of mind. The solid polycarbonate material offers exceptional durability and resistance, making it challenging to damage without attracting any attention.

It’s also a useful solution for those dome users, who usually have their hands occupied. Do you often hold your baby while entering the dome? Or you bring numerous crafting materials to your garden hobby room and you lack a pair of helping hands to unzip the Roll Door? This door type will make your life easier.Â
Ready for an upgrade? You can retrofit the Port Door to any existing S and M Hypedome. Plus you still have a couple more options…
What Does the Nest Door Offer?
The Hypedome Nest Door is a simple-to-install and lockable upgrade made of polycarbonate, aluminium and acrylic. The streamlined design doesn’t alter the shape of your dome and doesn’t take up any of your surrounding space.Â

Nest Door in Glamping and Garden Domes
We’ve shaped it to be elegant and discreet, as well as complete with the peace of mind that comes when you can lock your dome in style. And because it only takes up a small fraction of the floorspace within the dome, you can still use it for just about anything you fancy. Whether it’s a cosy backyard retreat, stylish glamping facilities, or even an outdoor entertainment space, the choice is yours, my friend.Â
With Nest Door, you can enjoy the best of both worlds: a beautifully integrated door that reflects the dome’s shape and a practical solution that suits outdoor environments. Experience the convenience, style, and versatility that Nest Door brings to your glamping and garden dome experience.
These doors are not only aesthetically pleasing but also offer a technically simpler solution and don’t require any additional space outside the dome, making them a perfect fit for outdoor spaces with limited room.

Time to treat yourself? Retrofitting Nest Door to any existing S and M Hypedomes begins with a click in the right place.
What Does the Roll Door Offer?
The Hypedome Roll Door is our classic option that comes with every Hypedome as standard (unless you choose another door). If what you really want is a lockable door for your dome then it might not be the best choice, but it’s ready and waiting to help with just about everything else. Easy installation, low maintenance and a range of standard and wide entrances can all be crossed off your list.
